Blobby Affirmation

If you’ve followed my blog or know me from my social media accounts, I am all about affirmations. This one has been attributed to Winnie the Pooh, so how bad can that be? I actually have this as a sign in my house and on a t-shirt, so when I saw the You Are Everything stamp set, I jumped at the chance to buy it!

The same release had the Blobby Roses Layering Stencil. I’m a sucker for a good layering stencil, and this one delivered! Look how pretty the roses are on their own:

So cute, right? Honestly, you could just add a sentiment, and call it a day! I chose to heat emboss the sentiment on vellum, then mount it over the stenciled panel. I thought it needed some sparkle (cause honestly, who has enough sparkle?), so I added a few Satin White Sequins, and they did the trick!

I also think it would be fun to do the stenciling on fabric using the Altenew Mixed-Media Ink! Now that I’ve said that, I think that may be an upcoming blog post!
