Watercolor Media - Take 2

I promised you a do-over, and here it is!

I received some terrific guidance, watched technique videos, and most important - took my time! This time, I didn’t rush, I worked slowly and in layers, and holey moley! What a difference!

So here’s the first try:

I used the same two colors, but I was careful about how much water I used, and how I laid down the ink. I built the layers - slowly this time! I did add Caramel Toffee Shimmer Spray in the center of the open flower and also used it for shading on the closed flower. I switched out the sentiment and used Antique Gold Pigment Ink instead of the black. I finished with some splatter using Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray.
